Miss Angel's singing is transcendent, rooted in her Mississippi childhood and in her lifelong love story with the late Mel Brown. She has been perfecting her unique, strong version of the blues ever since that day in 1975 when she stepped on a tour bus with Mel and went along for the ride. Her songs are earthy, strong and beautiful. Just like her.
